Jimi Hendrix – All Along The Watchtower – ORIGINAL MUSIC VIDEO

Posted by admin on April 5th, 2010 and filed under music videos artist | 25 Comments »

This video is dedicated to my dad who is a real hendrix fan and who now teaches me playing the guitar… wish I had hendrix’ talent!
I saw no one else uploaded this version (only live ones) and now I hope you enjoy!!

Lyrics:
There must be some kind of way out of here
Said the joker to the thief
There’s too much confusion
I can’t get no relief
Businessmen there – they drink my wine
Plow men dig my earth
None will level on the line
Nobody of it is worth – Hey!

No reason to get excited
The thief he kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke but huh
But you and I we’ve been through that
And this is not our fate
So let us not talk falsely now
The hours getting late – Hey!

All along the watchtower
Princes kept the view
While all the women came and went
Bare-foot servants too, but huh
Outside in the cold distance
A wild cat did growl
Two riders were approaching
And the wind began to howl – Hey!
