We’ve got the official MTV VMA nominations list, up next.
Hey everyone! Thanks for coming back to ClevverTV. I’m Dana Ward and I’m saying, let’s jump right into this official nominee list for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. If we’re giving a winner based on the number of nods, the 2010 victor is Lady Gaga. She earned 13 nominations – and she is the first artist to ever receive two nods in the Vid of the Year category… meanwhile Eminem got runner-up this year with 8 nominations. There were even some first-time VMA-ers including Justin Bieber for Best New Artist, Ke$ha for Best New Artist, Best Female Vid and Best Pop Video, Drake in the Best Male Video and Best Hip Hop Vid Categories, B.o.B. for Best Male Video, Best Collaboration, Best Pop Video, Best Hip Hop Video and Video of the Year. Also first timers, Florence + The Machine got 4 nods while Mumford and Sons got a nomination too. Beyonce gets some creds because her work with Gaga – in Video Phone and Telephone – got noticed. A few other artists mixed in there include Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Jay-Z, Jason Derulo, Usher, Pink, Paramore, Muse, Rihanna and more.
In addition to the normal BEST OF categories in hip hop, pop, rock, dance as well as the behind-the-scenes special effects, editing, direction, cinematography, choreography and art direction, Best New Artist, Best Female Video and Best Male Video are some of the coveted trophies. But, of course, Video of the Year is the hottest win of VMAs. This 2010 MTV round includes Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance, Florence + The Machine’s Dog Days Are Over, 30 Seconds to Mars’ Kings and Queens, Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce and Telephone as well as Eminem’s Not Afraid and B.o.B featuring Hayley Williams and Airplanes. Since that’s the big ticket item for the awards show, which music video do you think will go down in history as the 2010 MTV VMA Video of the Year? Tweet us right now @ClevverTV with your winner, plus, be sure to click follow over there on our Twitter page. We’ll continue to keep you posted on everything VMA and other music news. But don’t forget to set your tivos for the MTV awards show – it airs live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on September 12th at 9pm. I’m Dana Ward, thanks for watching the show, bye!

MTVs Video Music Awards have often incorporated dark and strange acts, containing some occult symbolism. This years version, however, outdid itself. The show left most people wondering what was wrong with Kanye West or trying compute the madness of Lady Gagas performance. The only way to understand the full meaning behind those performances is to look into esoteric teachings. The fact is that the whole awards show took the most common rituals of occult orders and re-enacted them in a show witnessed by the entire world.
This years VMAs were very different from other awards shows. They focused on a very limited number of artists (Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga), while ignoring many others who were equally successful. The chosen artists became characters in the VMAs ceremony and acted out different ritual dramas. This might sound totally crazy to the average MTV viewer but those acquainted with the practices of occult orders (such as Freemasonry) can decode the references to sacred rituals. There are numerous types of fraternities and rituals, from the most noble to the most infernal, and they have existed throughout History. The VMAs were decisively inspired by dark, sinister and even Satanic ceremonies. Lets look at those rituals.

“We Are the World 25 for Haiti” is a 2010 song and charity single recorded by the supergroup Artists for Haiti. It is a remake of the 1985 hit song “We Are the World”, which was written by American musicians Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, and was recorded by USA for Africa to benefit famine relief in Africa. Initially, in late 2009, it had been suggested to Richie and Quincy Jones—producer of the original “We Are the World—that a re-cut version of the song be re-released under the title “Live 25″. 25 refers to the years since the original recording. Following the magnitude 7.0 Mw earthquake in Haiti, which devastated the area and killed hundreds of thousands of people, it was agreed that the song would be re-recorded by new artists, in the hope that it would reach a new generation and help benefit the people of Haiti.
The song was recorded in fourteen hours by over eighty artists on February 1, and was released and debuted on February 12, 2010, during the opening ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics. “We Are the World 25 for Haiti” was released as a CD single and a digital download. Lengths of the song vary from around three minutes to nearly seven minutes. It was produced by Rickey Minor and RedOne, and executively produced by Richie, Jones and Haitian-American musician Wyclef Jean. A music video directed by Paul Haggis was released to accompany and promote the song.
“We Are the World 25 for Haiti” is musically structured similar to “We Are The World”, but includes auto-tune and a rap verse, which was written by some of the song’s hip hop artists. Michael Jackson died months before the song’s release, but his material from the 1985 recording sessions was incorporated into the song and music video, as per the request of his mother, Katherine. His younger sister Janet duets with him on the song, and his nephews Taj, TJ and Taryll—collectively known as 3T—feature on the track’s chorus. “We Are the World 25 for Haiti” received generally negative reviews by contemporary music critics, with criticism focused on the song’s new musical additions, as well as the choice of artists who appear on the track. The song was commercially successful worldwide, charting within the top twenty and top ten in multiple countries.
