MTVs Video Music Awards have often incorporated dark and strange acts, containing some occult symbolism. This years version, however, outdid itself. The show left most people wondering what was wrong with Kanye West or trying compute the madness of Lady Gagas performance. The only way to understand the full meaning behind those performances is to look into esoteric teachings. The fact is that the whole awards show took the most common rituals of occult orders and re-enacted them in a show witnessed by the entire world.

This years VMAs were very different from other awards shows. They focused on a very limited number of artists (Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga), while ignoring many others who were equally successful. The chosen artists became characters in the VMAs ceremony and acted out different ritual dramas. This might sound totally crazy to the average MTV viewer but those acquainted with the practices of occult orders (such as Freemasonry) can decode the references to sacred rituals. There are numerous types of fraternities and rituals, from the most noble to the most infernal, and they have existed throughout History. The VMAs were decisively inspired by dark, sinister and even Satanic ceremonies. Lets look at those rituals.

“Human Nature” was released on July 3, 1983, as the album’s fifth single. Although not released in the UK, the song achieved moderate chart success in the US. Reaching number two on Billboard’s Hot Adult Contemporary chart and number seven on the Hot 100, the song became Jackson’s fifth Top 10 hit from Thriller. In New Zealand the single reached number 11. The ballad garnered many positive reviews from music critics. “Human Nature” has been covered and sampled by numerous artists, including Miles Davis, SWV, Nas, Jason Nevins and Boyz II Men…..

This is my perspective of what the music video would have been like.

Following the January 2008 release of her debut indie CD The Ladder pop singer-songwriter Sara Haze was invited to perform in Toronto at Canadian Music Week (CMW). At CMW she was joined on stage by Grammy® Award-winning producer/songwriter Glen Ballard (Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews, No Doubt). Additional dates followed in Nashville, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, New York with an acoustic showcase at the CMJ offices, Houston TX for the Microsoft World Partners Convention at The Toyota Center Arena, the Popkomm fest in Berlin – Europes largest artist and industry event. In July 2008, Troy Blakely, Senior Vice President and Managing Partner of APA in Los Angeles, signed Sara for national bookings and by the end of the year she had played over 100 dates, either with a full band (including an electric violinist) or performing acoustic sets.
Saras critically acclaimed CD had steady sales on iTunes and throughout the year her music was also heard on national, international and web radio as well as placed in TV and movie soundtracks. By years end Sara had also made Music Connection Magazines 2008 Hot 100 Unsigned Bands & Artists list and Muses Muse 2008 Best Overall CD Project In Any Category (a tie with Jesse McCartney), previously awarded in 2007 to Sara Bareilles. In between gigs Sara worked in the studio with producer/guitarist Eric Fraley recording her second CD that included co-writes with James Slater and Glen Ballard, to be released in early 2009.

In 2009 Sara will continue on an extensive tour of the U.S. starting off as a featured artist at the 2009 CMW, 2009 Sunset Sessions: Presented by M:M Music with Radio & Records and KPRI, shows at SXSW (South by Southwest) and as a headlining act representing APA at the 2009 NACA Convention, the largest college market buyers showcase, at the Grand Ole Opry.
