MTVs Video Music Awards have often incorporated dark and strange acts, containing some occult symbolism. This years version, however, outdid itself. The show left most people wondering what was wrong with Kanye West or trying compute the madness of Lady Gagas performance. The only way to understand the full meaning behind those performances is to look into esoteric teachings. The fact is that the whole awards show took the most common rituals of occult orders and re-enacted them in a show witnessed by the entire world.
This years VMAs were very different from other awards shows. They focused on a very limited number of artists (Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga), while ignoring many others who were equally successful. The chosen artists became characters in the VMAs ceremony and acted out different ritual dramas. This might sound totally crazy to the average MTV viewer but those acquainted with the practices of occult orders (such as Freemasonry) can decode the references to sacred rituals. There are numerous types of fraternities and rituals, from the most noble to the most infernal, and they have existed throughout History. The VMAs were decisively inspired by dark, sinister and even Satanic ceremonies. Lets look at those rituals.

“Human Nature” is an R&B song by American recording artist Michael Jackson. VMA TRIBUTE MTV 2009 JANET JACKSON THIS IS IT TRAILER . It was written by Steve Porcaro and John Bettis, and produced by Quincy Jones for the singer’s sixth solo album, Thriller (1982). VMA TRIBUTE MTV 2009 JANET JACKSON LADY GAGA PAPARAZZI
HUMAN NATURE LYRICS:
Looking out
Across the night-time
The city winks a sleepless eye
Hear her voice
Shake my window
Sweet seducing sighs
Get me out
Into the night-time
Four walls won’t hold me tonight
If this town
Is just an apple
Then let me take a bite
Chorus
If they say -
Why, why, tell ‘em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
If they say -
Why, why, tell ‘em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
Reaching out
To touch a stranger
Electric eyes are ev’rywhere
See that girl
She knows I’m watching
She likes the way I stare
If they say -
Why, why, tell ‘em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
If they say -
Why, why, tell ‘em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
I like livin’ this way
I like lovin’ this way
(instrumental section)
Looking out
Across the morning
The city’s heart begins to beat
Reaching out
I touch her shoulder
I’m dreaming of the street
Chorus
If they say -
Why, why, tell ‘em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
If they say -
Why, why, tell ‘em that is human nature
Why, why, does he do me that way
I like livin’ this way
(Repeat Chorus – Ad-lib/fade-out)
“Human Nature” was released on July 3, 1983, as the album’s fifth single. Although not released in the UK, the song achieved moderate chart success in the US. Reaching number two on Billboard’s Hot Adult Contemporary chart and number seven on the Hot 100, the song became Jackson’s fifth Top 10 hit from Thriller. In New Zealand the single reached number 11. The ballad garnered many positive reviews from music critics. “Human Nature” has been covered and sampled by numerous artists, including Miles Davis, SWV, Nas, Jason Nevins and Boyz II Men…..
This is my perspective of what the music video would have been like.
MICHAEL I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!! I wish you were still here but your in God’s hands now. I made this video as a tribute to his continuing legacy and I always wondered what MJ’s music video would have been like for this special song so I made one for him

DIRECTOR’S CUT
The Matches “What Katie Said” Music Video
directed by Lady Ransom
http://www.ladyransom.com
Lady Ransom was commissioned by The Matches to shoot the video for What Katie Said. The video was shot on January 13th and 14th of 2007. Because of low budget restraints, the post effects were started but never finished by an fx artist who was doing the work for free in his spare time. Unfortunately the visual fx artist committed to the job but could not finish, forcing a huge delay in release. The band in July of 2007 took over the post fx and Lady Ransom hired, Jason Forman to finish their director’s cut. The band has the same exact footage. Our director’s cut was finished mid February of 2008. This video isn’t leaked by any means, it’s sole purpose is to showcase the directors work, as negotiated with the label and the band. Because of the delay in release, and the timing it had with the band’s release of their new album and new music video, they weren’t going to release anything off the old album. The timing was terrible and the delay was extremely unfortunate. With respect of the new album coming out, Lady Ransom in good faith with Epitaph did not make public their Director’s cut until now. We hope however that the Matches fans out there like this video! The Matches are very talented and were great to work with and we wish them all the best luck with their new album. We had a whole crew of people working really hard on this video and for nothing at all, other than to make something fun and creative for everyone to enjoy. So with that said! ENJOY! and please check out our other videos!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Will this be on iTunes?
–No, not the iTunes store, but it can be in your iTunes for free. Download it from my website, djearworm.com. You don’t need to pay the iTunes store to put free mp3s in your iTunes software, you just download the mp3 and then double-click on it (or drag it into your iTunes if that doesn’t work).
2. Why is that artist I hate in your list, and why isn’t that artist I love in your list?
–This is based on the Top 25 songs of Billboard’s 2009 year-end list. I didn’t choose the songs. The complete list is here: http://www.billboard.com/charts-year-end#/charts-year-end/hot-100-songs?year=2009
3. Why is that song from last year in the list? Why isn’t that song which was so popular toward the end of the year on the list?
–Billboard’s cutoff date is Dec 1st, to give them time to calculate the results and publish them well before New Years Day, which is good for me, since I need a little time to put this together and release it before the end of the year!
4. How long did this take you?
–If you add it up, about a month. About two weeks earlier in the year using educated guesswork, and then two weeks between when Billboard released the list and when I put it out.
5. What software did you use?
–Ableton Live for arranging the music. It’s AWESOME, and it’s what I use to DJ live with as well. Final Cut Pro for the video. For acapella extraction, see the next question.
6. How did you get the vocals without the instruments?
–if you search for “acapella” with the name of your song, you might find an isolated vocal. In some cases, I use a bit of Adobe Audition (the Center Channel Extractor effect) for vocal isolation. This removes instruments that are to the left or right in your stereo, and leaves only the sound that’s in the center. You can also use this effect to take an instrumental and a full track to create an acapella. Check out my book “Audio Mashup Construction Kit” for more details on this technique, there’s a whole chapter on it. In a few instances I used Melodyne Studio for vocal isolation.
7. What are the lyrics? Who sang that one part? I didn’t hear that one artist!
–I’ve posted the complete lyrics here, as well as a guide to where each of the lyrics and instruments came from:
http://djearworm.com/united-state-of-pop-2009-blame-it-on-the-pop-lyrics.htm
8. I want to make mashups, do you have any tips?
–Learn as much music theory as possible! Get ACID or Ableton Live, and learn it well. Make sure you understand key and tempo, so you can sync everything and get the parts to harmonize correctly. If you’re of a technical mindset, my book “Audio Mashup Construction Kit” covers my techniques in great detail.
9. Can I repost this video?
–please, no, and thanks for asking! Use the music however you want, but don’t simply repost the video in its entirety on your channel. I lots of people are doing it, but I wish they wouldn’t!
10. Doesn’t this prove how much pop music sucks nowadays and is basically interchangeable?
–Not at all. If you alter the tempo and pitch of any music enough, you could get anything to fit together, whether it’s Bach or the Black Eyed Peas. What it does prove is how far technology has come to make these alterations sound convincing. I’ve manipulated some of these vocals HEAVILY.
