I’ve always wondered if there was an unwritten/written rule about the artist name and album name being unique in the music industry. Have you ever seen two albums by different artist named the same?
you’ve asked 2 questions here.
to be unique one doesn’t require a specific title. it’s in the music, and the lyrics. the name does help in marketing but then it begs another quesitons, is this for business or pleasure? if pleasure , no it doesn’t matter, if its business, then yes, marketing teams will tell you you need something catchy, and easy to remember.
now the second question depends on how big you are plannign to go.
if your only playing in your own city/town then the name doesn matter at all, but one day of you plan on touring or copyrighting any material, you will have to make sure you have a different name than an existing band. An example is Bush, they used to be Bush X but another band was performing under that name and had to change it. Many bands change their names as they grow or change band members too along the way. Again if you plan to copyright material you will need to do some research and register your songs under a unique name.

I don’t think names really need to be unique, I think it’s the music that needs to be unique or interesting.
