I was very …
I was very fortunate to have grown up during this era (I was born in 1977)…classic movies, crazy fashion, epic video games, brilliant TV shows and of course, the music.
I guess every generation (or at least, groups of people who lived through any one decade) feels attached to some point in times past, but for me…long live the 80′s. There was never a decade like it before, and (sadly) I believe there will never be a decade like it again.

I was in my 20′s in …
I was in my 20′s in the eighties. It sure seems that almost all the gay/lesbian people came out, to make some excellent music. The B-52′s, The Human League, Queen, Culture Club, etc, were all gay, and all produced some great tunes. But, Dire Straits, Huey Lewis, Van Halen, U2, were all straight, and pretty good. Devo, Talking Heads, were all pretty weird, but good too!!
