I agree. I was born in 1973 and for some odd reason these songs make me feel so good. Reminds me of running around the house playing without a care in the world. My mom would be ironing or cooking and I would be playing hot wheels with these great tunes on the radio.

I love music from …
I love music from the 1970s — it has influenced me so much as a singer/songwriter/pianist. And I was happy to see my favorite vocalist (Karen Carpenter) at the end of this series of clips. I truly miss this time period — you just don’t hear songs like this anymore! David Gates, Stephen Bishop, Little River Band, etc. — good stuff!
