Why is MTV not supporting all dance artists and dance music videos?

Ever since dance music artists are popular during the late 1980s until 2003. All things were changed when hip-hop, reggaeton and alternative became THE rage in pop today. Could someone save dance music and its artists to be popular on MTV?

I guess they only like playing music by the most popular artists.
