Best Country Music Artist…. no doubt it is Merle Haggard!Bon Jovi rocks! and there is no best rapper.Sorry but my life is close knit to the music industry and rap is not what I consider music nor artists! 10 to 15 guys on a stage holding mics and doing gibberish and profanity is not music!
This is driving me CRAZY!
I can’t remember the artist or the song but I watched the music video a few weeks ago. Here is what I remember:
- black and white music video
- black rap artist (young male)
- rapping about how black people are disadvantaged and need to sell crack to get money/it’s not their fault the system is like it is
- it’s a serious song about life
- at the end of the video he walks into a church, and then walks out, then the all female church choir comes out of the church and looks over him as they walk away
- the key things are that the song is about getting money, it’s very serious, and he mumbles a little bit as he raps
please help me figure out this song!!
I don’t think it’s recent! I watched on YouTube not on TV ….
No, I don’t have it in my computer history!
i think its by rich boy titled lets get this paper or something

He showed rhyming skills at a very young age, and after some scrapes with the law that included serving prison time, T.I. quickly rose the ranks in Atlanta’s rap world, started his own Grand Hustle record label, and began a movie career, starring in The ATL. His personal assistant was killed in May 2006 outside a Cincinnati nightclub where T.I. had performed in support of his new album, King.
3) OutKast
The duo of Antwan Patton (Big Boi) and Andre Benjamin (Dre) formed OutKast during the mid-1990’s, helping put the Dirty South on the map and earning worldwide respectability for Atlanta’s growing hip-hop and rap music scenes. They quickly earned critical acclaim and many awards, and are set to star together in a movie called Idlewild which will include a full-length album by the same name.
4) Jermaine Dupri
Urban music producer icon Jermaine Dupri first struck gold in the music world with the teenage rap duo of Kris Kross. His music label, So So Def records, which he formed at the young age of 16, has become one of the most prestigious in its genre. In addition to signing talented acts, Dupri has produced songs on hit albums for TLC, Usher, and Mariah Carey. He opened Cafe Dupri in 2005 in Buckhead, and remains romantically involved with Janet Jackson.
5. Young Jeezy
Young Jeezy, who grew up mainly in the Macon area, is one of the stars of the Def Jam label, with his well-received debut, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 connecting with real people who are surviving the rough streets of Atlanta. Young Jeezy was also CEO of his own company, Corporate Thug Entertainment. His nickname is the "Snowman", which spawned controversial T-shirts that some critics say glorify the rapper’s past as a cocaine dealer.
6. Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz
An Atlanta native and founder of the "crunk" movement, Lil Jon got his start locally by being a club and radio DJ. He was hired by Jermaine Dupri to work for So So Def. He hit it big in Atlanta in 1996 with the single, "Who You Wit" from his debut album. Quickly he began getting worldwide attention, and comedian Dave Chapelle even parodied the rapper on his show. In addition to crunk, Lil Jon notes punk rock as an influence.
7. BoneCrusher
An Atlanta native who started with the Lyrical Giants before moving into a solo career with his 2003 debut album, AttenCHUN! He has also collaborated with the likes of local rap stars Youngbloodz and Young Jeezy.

With Lil Jon producing on selected tracks, they have turned out several commercially successful singles, including "Damn!" and "U-Way." They also have started their own record label and production company, and own the Cuban restaurant at the Wyndham Hotel in Midtown. They were arrested in June 2006 on marijuana and weapons charges.
9. Dem Franchize Boyz
This Atlanta-based quartet is billed as turning out "new-age crunk" and pioneers of the "snap" rap music movement. They also consider themselves "ambassadors of Southern rap culture." They are on the So So Def record label. Their 2005 hit single, "I Think They Like Me" features Jermaine Dupri, Bow Wow, and Da Brat. Their 2006 release, On Top of Our Game, has already earned gold status.

I really hope you plan on venturing into positive rap music. So much of this music contains violence, misogyny, and arrogance. I hope you decide not to condone this behavior. Please think before you rap. There are small children looking up to you.
No it was not a local band and no it wasn’t Bon Jovi! It was a rap artist!!! I need someone who listened to 80’s rap to answer this or possibly look it up on bearshare, Limewire or Frostwire for me. For some reason I can’t download those sites.
MC Player: Dance-The Mega Diss good luck finding it, mine is on a cassette tape
