I have more than one, but one artist that stands out is Eminem. He puts his whole life story into his music which i think is a beautiful thing, and he comes up with the best lyrics for his songs and they all make sense.

I heard that Jayz earned the most for a music artist last year (22million), then P-Diddy with 16m and Kanye West with 10m. How did these artists earn so much even though they didnt release very many songs, while artists like Rihanna and Lady Gaga had loads of hugely successful songs/albums?

Back in 1995 or 1996 there was a music video where someone’s boyfriend or husband died. They were in a big house at night. I think it was raining and they were sitting in the floor, and standing in their hallway crying. It was pretty sad. I already checked Toni Braxton’s Unbreak My Heart and Celine Dion’s It’s all Coming Back to Me. Although they’re similar videos, neither is the one. Anyone know? It’s driving me nuts!

Now that Myspace no longer has the search by zip code location for music artists, are there any sites that offer this?

Reverbnation.com is a good site to find local artists of any genre…i just made my band one and its extremely easy to find and contact artists in your area…i would recommend making an account because i dont know if it gives you the option to search genre and local/global without an account…works great though and its easy to make an account…and its free also.

Im 15 and i love music and have messed around with some music making apps on ipod And i think i could make a decent track. I dont mean a music artist like a singer or anything. I mean a person like David Guetta or DJ Fresh or even a person who makes backing for singers. Its not like im relying on this as im doing well at school i just think it would be my dream job making music for a living. How could i achive this?

I was a DJ back in the nineties, and was the first female DJ in my city…I’d say work in some clubs, start out like that, then try to get exposure..or you could always look up how the DJs you mentioned became successful. Good luck

Being a traditional country music fan I love Texas music, most of the good country music around today is coming from Texan artists, the most popular, influential and highly respected artist has got to be Gene Watson, he is still recording with top artists like Rhonda Vincent, Vince Gill, Trace Adkins etc. and selling out venues across the world.

I am making a gift basket for a country music artist. I need ideas of what to put inside as well as unique ideas for the basket itself. Last year, instead of using a basket, we used an old feed sack with a rope handle. Need ideas for what to do now…

Well, it depends if the country music artist is a boy or if it’s a girl.

Boy:
Rope
Cowboy Hat
A picture of a microphone or a real microphone
Maybe something homemade
A letter saying how much you love their music
A CD of their music that you made or bought

Girl:
Fun girly things like lotions, loofahs, lip glosses
A cowgirl hat

There are so many things you can do but these are just a few things I thought of.

I saw a music video on the fuse channel about 4-6 years ago. It had white french woman singing in french kind of fast but i dont think it would be considered rap. The video looked like it was in a warehouse and may have even been in black and white. I seem to remember the lady having short brown hair but not sure. The song was amazing and i would love to hear it again! Please help!!

There’s a music video with a young male singer skinny with squinty eyes, might be between 16 – 19 years old. I know his first name is Matthew he’s playing a acoustic guitar though out the music video. The music video from what I remember has the artist Matthew playing acoustic guitar while a separate story plays out between a young couple meeting for the time.The song is a love song during the verses the singer is singing softly but during the chorus he singing gets louder and he plays he’s acoustic guitar faster than in the verses. I can’t remember any of lyrics I could only hum the song. The music video came out around 5 or 6 years ago. I saw the music video for the first time on vh1 and it played on there rotation frequently at the time. One more clue is that I think but not sure he’s last name rhymed with bazooka. I hope this is enough information to till me the name of the artist and appreciate the name of the song to. Thank you in advance to any who helps answer my question.
