Have any music artists influenced you to do certain things or dress a certain way?

Ok not me. But i’m asking for example have you ever wanted to look like a certain music artists, for example when Britney Spears first came a lot of teen girls wanted to be like her etc….Now for example some people thought that having bright red hair looked awkward, and since Rihanna dyed her hair a lot of girls have done the same thing….

The only artist that I have in mind is George Strait. When he arrived in the country music scene in the 80s, people started to wear Wrangler jeans and Resistol hats. Fans constantly thanked him for bringing back a sound that was barely heard on the radio anymore. Over 50 number one hits and dubbed as "The King of Country". Listening to his music and his videos influenced me to dress up like him. I’m from Texas, so I’m a fan of his for life.

Why are today’s music artists popular when everyone seems to hate them?

Shouldn’t the music biz get a clue and start promoting artists that are actually good and people actually enjoy?

We don’t hate them because they’re popular,
They’re popular because we hate them.

Are there any websites made for getting exposure for music artists ?

I’ve recently started up my own little Dubstep music project, and I’m trying to get exposure for it online,
But with Myspace being dead and virtually useless for recording artists anymore,
and with Facebook becoming Spambook,
You can probably see that it’s not easy,
Are there any websites that are fairly popular and will actually get my music out there ?

youtube pretty much anyone can get famous now a day most artist get discover on youtube the king of youtube justin bieber sign by usher but you can also become popular by writing a really bad song aka rebbeca black friday or just make a funny parody out of any songs
